Rice Paper on Canvas
Tearing rice paper into multiple, irregularly shaped pieces, sliding each one of them into water before patching it onto canvas. After drying it with paper towel, then apply cold wax to the surface as the adhesive medium. The mixture of wax and calligraphy ink creates remarkable results that not only intensify the contrast between black and white, it also truly reflects the exciting blend of EAST and WEST. |
